Events – POR 5k/Almost 10k & The Splash Bash
This past Saturday Oct. 22nd we had two awesome charity events supporting two amazing organizations. The Pants off Racing 5k/Almost 10k marathon supporting and raising awareness for Pancreatic Cancer and the Samburu Project Splash Bash, which raises money to build fresh water wells in the Samburu District of Kenya. Check out the pics below from the events this past weekend and read-up on what these awesome organizations do!
The Pants off Racing 5k/Almost 10k: The 4th Annual Pants Off Racing Almost 10/5k, Again has been set for Oct. 22nd in Calabasas CA. As we have done the previous years, we will be running this through the hills and trails of Malibu Creek State Park starting at 9am. After party will follow at the park and then later that night in Venice Beach. Costumes and strangers are welcome, we are only interested in raising money to help continue our mission of helping families.
The Samburu Project Splash Bash: The Samburu Project delivers access to clean water. Why you may ask? Samburu women and girls walk up to 12 miles or 6 hours every day in search of water. Since 2005, The Samburu Project has drilled 84 wells, bringing water to over 80,000 people. This is all thanks to the donors at the Splash Bash!
