250 of the World’s Biggest Thought Leaders to Wear our Bracelets at Chicago Ideas Week
Chicago Ideas Week started today! Boasting over 25,000 attendees and over 250 of the nation and world’s most influential people each year, CIW will gather thought leaders to inspire, connect and activate the city of Chicago and beyond for its third annual session.
And this year, Bead Relief donated 250 bracelets to the guest speakers of the event!
We feel honored to donate bracelets to Chicago Ideas Week but even more excited to gain HUGE exposure for our organization. By wearing our bracelets, the hundreds of carefully chosen thought leaders both support and advocate for our cause to give, help and share information about the array of philanthropy organizations we support.
We hope the people who attend the talks, labs and master classes, too, will be inspired to support Bead Relief’s mission.
The annual conference covers topics like science, beer, transportation, education, economics, music, sports (and now charity bracelets) among others. This year’s speakers include astronaut Dr. Buzz Aldrin, chef and TV personality Cat Cora, cofounder of the It Gets Better Project Dan Savage, host of “Meet the Press” David Gregory, activist Elizabeth Smart, author and staff writer of “The New Yorker” Malcolm Gladwell, chief technology officer of Paypal and chairman of Yelp Max Levchin, screenwriter M. Night Shyamalan and author Terry McMillan.
Chicago Ideas Week will end on Sunday, Oct. 20. Check out the CIW website for further information: www.chicagoideas.com.
